HomeSight is a home health company that specializes in working with clients who have visual deficits. The HomeSight program originated in 1997. HomeSight of Texas was formed in 2004 and can serve clients within a 50 mile radius of Beaumont, TX.

We focus on helping clients improve their ability to function in all areas of their lives. We focus on the following areas: personal care, clothing care, eating and meal preparation, medication management, home maintenance, money management, functional communication, functional mobility, leisure, reading, and writing. We provide our clients with free adaptive devices to help them become as independent as possible!

Occupational therapists train clients how to use adaptive devices, teach them compensation techniques, and modify their environment to help them lead productive and meaningful lives. Nurses educate clients about their illness and assist with any medical or medication issues. Physical therapy, speech therapy, and social work are provided as needed.

Anyone who is homebound, having functional deficits, and has a medical diagnosis that effects their vision qualifies for HomeSight services. Clients do not have to be legally blind to qualify, rather have problems functioning in daily life activities. A physician’s order is required to begin our services.

HomeSight is of no cost to anyone who qualifies and has Medicare.
